Causes of Global Warming on Planet Earth
What causes Global Warming? One of the biggest issues facing us right now is global warming. Planet Earth is getting warmer and warmer every day because of greenhouse gases. People are really concern about the future of this planet because it has so many effects from global warming. It effects on animals and on agriculture are indeed frightening, and the effects on the human population are even scarier. The facts of global warming are often observe and investigate by scientists or even in politics and the media to determine the real causes. In facts, the main causes are mainly from us, the human activities are the sources led to global warming.
Global warming is primarily a problem of too much carbon dioxide (CO2) in the atmosphere—which acts as a blanket, trapping heat and warming the planet. The amount of carbon dioxide (CO2) is increasing rapidly over the past 30 years due to the emissions from fossil fuel burning power plants. The proliferation of CO2 is coming from burning fossil fuels such as coal, oil and natural gas for energy. Every people need the electricity for their houses and also for works. People are highly dependent on burning coal for personal and commercial electrical supply. Electricity productions such as factories need lot energy to run the business and the electricity is coming from coal burning power plants. By using coal burning power plants, it releases the enormous amount of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. Another cause global warming is economic growth because people are using machinery and factories to escalate the economy. For example, during the Industrial Revolution, the European countries and North America are replacing human labor with machines and factories to produce products. As a result, the atmosphere was affected by the pollution of carbon dioxide from factories. Currently, countries such as China, India and other developing countries are trying to raise their economy, which this will lead to the upsurge of factories and power plants. The amount of carbon dioxide will also increase into the atmosphere.
Now a day, the amount of using oil and natural gas for the energy in the vehicles and other transportation is growing rapidly, which cause air pollution and carbon dioxide is rising into the atmosphere. With the population emergent at an alarming rate, the demand for more cars and consumer goods means that people are increasing the use of fossil fuels for transportation and manufacturing. In China, for instance, the human population rate is high, so the amount of
