High School and College Professor Contrast

There are many differences between high school teachers and college professors in method of teaching. Teaching is the most important profession in the world. Teachers are professor have strong impact on students. Teachers and professors establish a strong sense of confidence by teaching students. There are three different methods of teaching students such as the skills of teaching, help availability and structure of teaching.
First, high school teachers and college professors have different skills of teaching. In high school, the students are most dependent on teachers than themselves. Teacher’s monitored student’s grades an attendance. Teachers also provide students note when students miss class. Highly school teachers also allow students to turn in and make up work when students are absent. On the other hand, college professors have ways of handling such issues. Many college professors do not take attendance and they have a time to make sure all of their students are passing grades. For example, in college if students miss a class it is the student’s responsibility to get the notes from a classmate. Another example, in college if an assignment is due on the day and student miss a class and then student decided to turn in the next day, there is 90 percent of chance that professor will not let the student to turn in.
Second, in high school teachers are often available for conversation about any subjects before, during and after class. For instance, if students are missing their assignment before exams, teachers will inform the student to make up missing work to get better grade in the semester. However, in college it is a whole different process. For example, if students miss assignment professors do not come up to students and do not inform students what students have missed and what they should make up. In college it is the student’s responsibility to make appointment with professor during his or her office hours.
Third, college professors structure their curriculum on their own whereas teachers are required to follow a curriculum controlled by the state guideline. For example, high school teachers are supposed to obey the state process in order to teach subject. If a college professor has to teach algebra, he will not have to follow state curriculum and can Texas class at their own pace.
In conclusion, teachers and professors are important in the education system. They have different strategies that help students to start a better career path. Professors and teachers play a great role in student’s education
