Kudler fine foods IT System at all three locations are running the same system which was implemented by a local business, which is currently no longer operating; hardware and software was originally put in place by the local business along with friends and employees of Kudler Fine Foods. Throughout the existence of Kudler the IT System has not been updated or modified since its original setup. The current performance is okay but compared to other local supermarkets their system is much slower. Kudler would also like to execute on gathering more client information to make a more personalized system for their clients but do not know how to go about it without putting the clients information at risk and having security issues which can potentially harm Kudler’s image and can harm the company in a severe way.

Kudler’s current IT System is at serious risk from operating as a business their system is getting slower and weaker compared to other companies in the local area; which if nothing is done to increase Kudler’s productivity ranging from a system perspective to the customer’s satisfaction can be detrimental to the organization itself. Kudler being a fine food store should also reflect from a system perspective by updating their entire system. Kudler needs to update their hardware system to meet its competitors systems and be able to conduct business in a safe reliable manner. Kudler needs to hire an organization which can implement and monitor an updated IT system along with update the hardware system.

Recommendations include updating the hardware system, implementing a monitored software system and system security. Updating the hardware system would include buying new hardware for the kiosks along with a centralized server and a backup system to store all data from all three locations.
