Living alone or living with family

Living alone or living with family has its own advantages and disadvantages. Besides some similarities, there are various differences between the two. The essay will show the differences in freedom, security, and study issues.

First of all, people living alone enjoy more freedom than those who are living with family. When being alone, we can do whatever we want without thinking too much about our parents’ permission. For example, we can go out overnight and enjoy our pleasant time with our companions. That seems to be tough if you are living with family. Our parents could be really anxious if they find out.

Secondly, our family would ensure the necessary security that is really important in life. When you live by yourself, you have to deal with troubles such as robbery. For example, after a long and exhausted day of working, we come back home and sleep like a log. The next day, you realize you lost all most everything in your apartment because you had forgotten to lock the door. How horrible it is! It would never happen if you lived with your family. Your parents would check on the door for you.

Lastly, it could be easy for us to concentrate on our lessons if we are at home. Let’s imagine that when you live with friends, you can easily be disturbed while studying. It takes time for you to talk to them. Then you have to spend hours to study again. As the consequence, your study effort is not as efficient.

In conclusion, we need to weigh the advantages and disadvantages between the two. The most important thing is to how comfortable we feel when we live with friends versus with family.
