Two of the largest international law firms, Jones Day and Kirkland and Ellis, are on the potential rise of participating in this outsource for what they see as beneficial reasons. Co-head of the mergers and acquisitions practice at Jones Day in New York, Rob Profusek, strives to keep the most crucial employees within the company in more sophisticated, desirable, and accessible locations such as London and New York, but plans to have all other non-essential employees work out of India, China, or Columbus, Ohio. If all goes as planned, a document center will open up in India which will be the source and location of all low-end US legal tasks and services for the least amount of money possible.
