Marriage of Charlotte & Elizabeth

   “Marriage is mosaic you build with your spouse. Millions of tiny moments that create your love story” Marriage is something that you and your soul mate share together, which you share with each other about your feeling and ideas. “Pride and Prejudice” is a great example for marriage is talking about how the society at the time that Jane Austen live. Elizabeth and Charlotte are good friends but they have difference view of marriage. There are three things difference them is love, reputation, and security.

     The first difference between Charlotte and Elizabeth is love. Charlotte marriage view isn`t based on love when she marries Collins, she doesn`t has any feelings for him; she marries him because she just want his fortune. Mr. Collins who first has eyes for Jane but he soon know the truth, he changes to Elizabeth but he refuse his proposal so he propose to Charlotte who is a very close friends to Elizabeth. “We can all begin freely—a slight preference is natural enough; but there are very few of us who have heart enough to be really in love without encouragement” (Chapter 6) , she means that marriage is just something that happen occasionally and you just fall in love with him without realize it. There are other great example of her views on marriage “Happiness in marriage is entirely a matter of chance.” It means that she has experience and she uses realistic information and she has more experience.
