Mistakes gives you knowledge
Many people around us has been involved in a lot of mistakes throughout their life. From the reading, Learning from failure by Steven Cass, he leaves us a real truth message about success and failure in life. Cass is reviewing some of the events that happened in 1940, the Tacoma Narrows Bridge incident, in Washington state. A bridge failure occurred, the Tacoma Narrows used an inexpensive material. Unfortunately, nobody is aware of what is going to happen after a project is done or not even imagine if every single step was done correctly. Everything happens for a reason and if this happened was because people who was working in this project needed more experience. Man is designed to progress through trial or error. We all learn from our mistakes so that we are better equipped when a similar challenge comes along. Cass didn’t had a common mistake as i did but it gave me a opportunity to go back to my past and realize how much I have been learning since i had my own errors.
When i failed my Anatomy test, was when i knew that we have to be aware of every single detail that is new for us. My teacher used to give us easy quizzes every week and a couple of months later past and Mid-terms were just around the corner. Since everything was new to me I didn't realize that this next quiz was so important in my grade and I didn't study at all. The day of the quiz i was going crazy because i though that it was going to be an easy test as the others but it wasn't. I tried my best and a answered some of the questions. My answers were not correct or not enough and I failed it. The next day my teacher explained what the quiz meant and since that day I’m always checking when exactly my work is due. I think that the person interested in success has to learn from every failure in their way to the top.
