Samsung Electronics was founded in Suwon, South Korea in 1938 and only entered the electronics industry in the 1960s.

Since its founding , Samsung Electronics has grown into a global information technology leader, managing more than 200 subsidiaries around the world. 

The company’s offerings include home appliances such as TVs, monitors, printers, refrigerators, and washing machines as well as key mobile telecommunications products like smartphones and tablets. Samsung also continues to be a trusted provider of key electronic components like DRAM and non-memory semiconductors. 
Samsung pledges to create and deliver quality products and services that enhance convenience and foster smarter lifestyles for its customers around the world. Samsung is dedicated to improving the global community through its constant pursuit of groundbreaking innovations and value creation. 

SamSung electronics VietNam ThaiNguyen SEVT

After the success of their first Vietnamese plant in 2009, Samsung Electronics launched a second plant in Yen Binh 1 Industrial Park, Thai Nguyen Province on March 2013 at a cost of 2 billionUSD.

Samsung Electronics Vietnam Thai Nguyen (SEVT) complex manufactures Samsung products such as mobile phones, smart phones and tablets.

SEVT has approximately 81600 employees, 6.5% of who graduated from Foreign Trade university. 75% employees are females, 25% others are males. The average age of employees is 22.

SETV invests in high-tech area, has a nice campus with trees and flowers, parks for employees and many other societal activities are held to connect emloyees.

The Samsung Electronics Vietnam Thai Nguyen Co. Ltd contributeds approximately 90% of the export hike to the province, and 17,5% of the total export hike to Viet Nam.
