Pathway to Success
The judgement of people is not only on the basis of their appearance, but also on a basis of their educational history. The foundation to success in America is based on education. Facing many experience’s throughout life, there comes many quality times and also many unprosperous times. One grasps these moments to better themselves and accomplish goals throughout their path to success. To be advantageous in this world, I must set goals and a life long pathway to prosperity.
Life hits you with many ups and downs. Throughout life, I have noticed that education is vital for success worldwide. From a young age, I didn't believe school was the key to success. All throughout my elementary and middle school, I saw education as a choice. My belief was that you could be successful without any education. It was until I reached high school when I realized that school is a necessity not only in the US but worldwide. With many bad and good experiences throughout my education, one bad time in particular was dealing with my math courses in high school. I found it really challenging to do my work especially without the support to help me fully grasp specific concepts. Although I faced many rough times with math, I also faced many good times throughout high school. An organization called AVID gave me many good experiences mainly because they helped me focus on my priorities. AVID helped me not only become a better student all around but also a better person because it showed me how to stay organized.
Life-long success is dependent on how you choose to control your life whether it be something that truly motivates you or an external force which brings you to action. There are many forms in which to be motivated. According to Stephanie Harper, the author of “Motivation,” extrinsic motivation “...comes from the external world and propels you to action…” In other words, Harper is stating that
