Personal learning and of oneself is achieved daily, whether by going to university, socialising, working in teams, reading a book, anyway what I’m trying to say is that in interpersonal skills and conflict management subject I have gained an extraordinary share of information/insight , to be more particular exercise 10-B is a group activity with a story that is deliberately vague following up with true and false questions. what really triggered me is that most of the students/groups chose different than other students which made me raise a question that a story that isn’t very clear and precise made student stick to their decisions and views, and made me come to an understanding that people see different views from different aspects depending on their culture, history, personality emotional intelligence etc.. but what more interesting is the understanding of one another and respecting each other’s decisions and thought which is exactly what we accomplished in class. On of the students asked the tutor that he didn’t agree with the answers and raised a debate leading to a conflict of opinions ,in class therefore the tutor dealt with the issue in an interpersonal skill and conflict management approach.
This is why I was attracted to this subject because I am a very social person and diverse person and would like to understand and learn more on how to resolve and manage conflict in a professional manner and this is what this subject has brought upon , not just working in groups but knowing how to work with one another is very vital in today’s world , because in the real world companies/organisations is all about communication
