          One product that I know is custom packs in healthcare used for surgery procedures producing a custom package at the Banner Distribution Center in Arizona. Furthermore, these products will need to utilize an assembly line process. The overall amount of custom package required for the hospitals determines the number of staff members needed for the process.

The assembly line is referred to a manufacturing system of mass production in which a finished product is manufactured in step by step process involving interchangeable parts. Also, this is added in a sequential way as it moves continuously past an arrangement of staff members and machines. The packs will move down the workstation following the phases to complete the pack the hospital ordered, in this process, each staff member adds contents to the package and determines the product that needs to go before it is indeed there to make sure the pack has all the required content.

The medical pack will start by putting the surgical table cover at the end. Once the order is placed, the employees must add gowns, blue surgical towels, containers, needles and other components on top by a menu that was previously prepared by the clinic and based on the usage of the pack is the contents it will have. Also, each worker has the job of adding one or two component to the pack before it can continue doing down the line. When the contents are included, the group of items is wrapped and put inside plastic back with a copy of the menu. The pack is moved to the second step to be sterilized before shipping.

A service process that I know is the sales process at the center in Arizona. Also, this means that the analyst will need to collect details from the hospitals a survey and month to month meetings to meet the clinic needs. The analyst will need to talk to different supply chain at the other clinics to collect knowledge for requirements relating to packs. The supply chain employer will do a conference call with an analyst to speak briefly about increasing or decreasing of a surgical case. The analyst will talk about data up in the computer in order to assess the needed to raise production of a particular custom pack. Next, the analyst will ask the consumer the reasons for increasing the product and will make changes to the production line to meet the hospice needs.
