this narrative jumps forward by a week and begins with the account of TJ hopping into the back of the wagon next tot S
among all the food stuff which bigma was taking in order to sell in the market in ST C herself is glad at being given the oppurtunity
to go fro the market day held every second Sat of ever moth and so far S had gone only once but not
the others. but this time big ma had called out to C warning that she shouldnt wake up Cj or LM its only
when Bigma grumbles thst she has no time to put up with the foolishness of both jack and TJ and S is as much
suprised as C her self big ma is now busy controlling Jack and once she has Jack subdued she informas how mr Avery had
requestyed that Tj should be taken to SB to do some shopping instead of at W store. its obvious that bigma doesnt like TJ
and that is why S and C were been taken by her to aviod being nagged by TJs constant chatter
as it is 330 on morning even TJ is too tired to talk and by dawn he is back to his normal chattering self (time=December)
making every body feel that TJ had not managed to make it up with S. C is quite dissappointed as the enter SB it was "nothing
like the tough sprawling bigness" she had expected and instead it is "a sad red place" with nothig but "drying mud puddles gloomy
store buildings". big ma warns C to keep quiet not to speak out of turn as within an hr the place will be filled with peple
and she doesnt want trouble. they turn on to a dirt road and find that already near the field entrence wagons had already been
parked and bigma heads to where only 2 wagons are stationed and she is glad that not many people had come in advance
due to the cold weather in summer however she used to cum on fri night to get a spot like this. C wishes to know move thwhether every ones
got egg and milk to sell which makes her aks y they were stationed in such a remote spot where no one can see. big ma again
