There are some people who influence you in the course of life. He was born on August 4, 1961 in Honolulu, Hawaii. He was elected as the 44th president of United States of America. He is currently the president of US. He is the first African American in the world to hold this position. Obama has a very decent educational background as he completed his graduation from Columbia University and also has a degree from Harvard Law School. He was elected the president of the Harward Law Review. Before finishing his law degree he was serving as a community organizer in Chicago. From 1992 to 2004, he served as a civil rights attorney. Other than that, he was a teacher of constitutional law at the prestigious University of Chicago Law School. This way we can see that he has a very efficient background. He is the person who changed my world view in a manner that race or color of skin cannot decide upon the potential of a person.
Obama recieved international attention in 2004, while campaigning to represent Illinois in the Senate of United States. According to Maraniss, David (2012), He won in the March Democratic Party primary, his keynote address caught attention of the public at the Democratic National Convention in the month of July in the same year, and the election to the Senate was one of the most crucial events in November. To fight for the presidential authority, he started campaigning in the year 2007. After a head-to-head campaign against Hillary Clinton, he was able to win sufficient number of delegates in the Democratic Party in the year 2008. As a result, he was able to win the presidential nomination. After that, he continued with his victorious spree by defeating Republican nominee John McCain and was elected as the president in the general election in the year 2009.
