Vietnam Manufacturing and Export Processing (Holdings) Limited (“VMEPH”) is one of the leading manufacturers of scooter and cub motorbikes in Vietnam, which currently ranks third among the principal foreign-owned motorbike manufacturers. It was established in 1992 by 100% investment of CHINFON Group. To consolidate the business and manufacturing techniques with objective was improving business efficiency, VMEPH was tranfered from CHINFON Group to SANYANG on May, 2004. From this time, The Group achieved many success and the consumption in 2004 was 1,000,000 vehicles breakthrough (scenario sheet).
The Group offers a wide range of models, and its motorbikes are sold under the SYM and SANDA brand names. Vietnam is a developing country, living standard of Vietnamese is not as high as other ones. So most of people(urban or foreigner) living in Vietnam choose using motorbike is the most approriate way to move.
Nowadays, Vietnam’s motorbike industry continued to grow at a high pace with a high demand. To keep up with that demand, SYM has been introduced two new scooters series, namely Shark and Joyride, targeting the high-end and youth man scooters market respectively. With sedan-like design and superior functionality, Shark series represent a sense of fashion. Joyride series emphasize on its fashionable design and funtions through utilizing modernized techniques in its design, manufacture and production, meeting the needs of younger generations on both appearance functionality.
