A companion animal is an animal that is domesticated or kept for companionship or amusement. There are varieties of careers that involve working with companion animals. These careers include pet grooming careers, companion animal publications writers or editors, companion animal food research and development officers, pet product development researchers, companion animal quality assurance officers, sales and marketing executives, service dog training officers, pet consultant officers, kennel attendants , animal scientist and many other career opportunities. Employers offering these careers are particularly interested with individual knowledge of biology among other life sciences as well as the job experience.
Pet Groomer
The main objective of this career is to maintain animal hygiene and style. Pet groomers work to assist the companion animals in bathing as well as in training them on general environment hygiene such as urinating and defecating areas. Companion animals that are trained on hygiene preservation are particularly important for keeping at homes due to the assured health safety of family members. Pet groomers also work to style the animal's fur. Styling the companion animal fur is simply an act of animal beautification. They also work to clip the companion animal fur as well as the nails. Pet groomers provide their services to family pet, making ready show animals for events, working at kennels, pet shops, and pets' retail companies. Successful companion animal groomers have specific personal and career qualities. These include desire and love to work with animals.
