When evaluating the PEACE Domestic Violence Agency, it is important to look at the development of the program plan and to make sure that it will be relevant and effective. The purpose of an agency such as peace is to support and empower a sense of individuals and families who have been affected by domestic violence or abuse. In order to continue helping those who have been affected, PEACE will create an evaluation plan that uses a simple foundation. This agency wants to review the services provided and the work that will be performed; the reason for this sort of evaluation is to know that the services being offered will have a positive effect on the lives of their clients and the community as well. The program that PEACE offers wishes to work towards those efforts while at the same time being productive and helpful.

The project-wide evaluation plan using the empowerment approach proves to be the most effective for PEACE’s program. This type of evaluation works well with the agency’s program because it focuses on its purpose and provides an idea of the programs objectives and goals. The programs staff is involved in the evaluation as well as the development and implementation; this in turn enable them to be more motivated employees, which can be an excellent contribution to the program and the organization as a whole. Identifying whether or not PEACE will be able to reduce incidents of domestic violence and abuse and how it can be done, is the first step in creating this type of plan. The next phase would be answering the question as to whether or not educating families about domestic violence could play a pertinent role in preventing it. This particular plan will incorporate both the process and outcome evaluation by gathering the appropriate documents of the achievements accomplished towards the agency’s objectives. Also by gathering information from a variety of other sources that would permit the organization to see what goals were accomplish as a result of the services provided.

Process evaluations will be evaluated in order to supply qualitative and quantitative information on the services rendered and whether or not they are effective and on the right track to meet the programs goals; in addition to describing the PEACE agency’s program interventions and implementation. This also allows the agency to notate relevant information on staff activity, organizational support, and the development of the project.
