Compensable Factors
Through careful selection and identification of compensable factors using skill, effort, responsibility, and working conditions as our base at Duplox we confirmed that all fields of work are essential for the organization's overall outcome. The ten following subfactors are education, experience, communication, analytical ability, managerial skills, contact with customers/clients, attention to details, pressure of work, volume of work, working conditions. All these factors were defined and evaluated regarding their value compared to others at the company. Results of Job Evaluation to Jobs at Duplox (Fig.2) and Summary Rating charts (Fig.1.) as well as Legend for JE are found in the Appendix part.

This factor measures the minimum level of education an employee must have for the position.
Degree 1 Completion of Elementary school
Degree 2 Completion of Grade 12
Degree 3 Completion of Grade 12 + training/applied designation
Degree 4 1-2year applied designation from an accredited technical institution
Degree 5 A Bachelor’s Degree
Degree 6 A Bachelor’s Degree + training
Degree 7 A Bachelor’s Degree + special designation
Degree 8 A Bachelor’s Degree + Master’s degree + special designation
Experience 15 %
This factor measures the minimum level of related work experience necessary to perform the job.
