Through my findings battering is a pattern of behavior used to establish power and control over another person with whom close relationship is or has been shared through fear and intimidation, which is used by threats or use of violence. Domestic violence as I mentioned before is a control mechanism by men who has a learned behavior of violence rather it steamed from childhood or low self-esteem. This type of man realizes a woman weakness by studying her behavior. He knows her social, economic, family, and financial background. He tends to utilize that so that he can gain or keep control and constantly keep her in a state of fear.
