Global Warming is the overall temperature increase of the Earth’s atmosphere. It is generally attributed to the greenhouse effect, which is caused by increased levels of carbon dioxide, chlorofluorocarbons and other pollutants. The world’s ecosystem is in danger from the affects of global warming. Plants, water, and many species are contributing to the cause of global warming.
Global Warming is caused by the entrapment of heat through greenhouse gases, carbon dioxide, methane, water, vapor, and nitrous oxide, which occurs naturally in the atmosphere. Those gases keep the heat that enters the atmosphere trapped, which creates heat that builds up. Even though there are about forty greenhouse gases, carbon dioxide is the main contributor to the global warming. When the heat increases in the atmosphere, the water vapor does too, which causes high humidity.
Extreme weather is an effect of global warming. While experiencing some of the hottest summer days recorded, much of the United States has also been experiencing very cold winter days. “Climate is by definition the long-term average of weather, over many years. One cold (or warm) year or season has little to do with overall climate. It is when those cold (or warm) years become more regular that we start to recognize it as a change of climate rather than simply an anomalous year of weather.” –unknown
Another effect of global warming is social changes caused by human emissions of greenhouse gases. Many impacts of climate change have already been observed, like glacier retreat, changes in the timing of season events and changes of agricultural productivity.
In my opinion, I think global warming with ruin the environment completely. Many say that the earth will only have life while the sun is strong and burning, and when the sun has shrunk and is the size of Pluto, there will be no or minimal life. I think there will be no life on this
