The human engagement in production activities has had an immense effect on the environment. The temperature changes are due to the destruction of the ozone layer by the emission of harmful gas used mostly in machines and the excessive use of the greenhouse gases. According to Alina, who quotes NASA that the average temperature has risen by 1.4 degrees since the year 1880 (Bradford, 2014) due to greenhouse emission. The release of these toxic gases has had an adverse effect on the making and implementation of some of the economic policies. Some of these economic policies are at building and encouraging economic growth, the expansion of trade, technological advancement, and the strengthening of the economic growth. Due to the serious nature of climate change and global warming, this factor has to be considered while evaluating the risk imposed by this sudden change facing our environment for a better economic prosperity.
The magnitude of global warming will have a significant impact on both the environment and the ability of man to contribute to the economic prosperity. The impact of the global warming varies from time to time and region to region due to the difference in the areas. The natural occurrence due to climate change may sometimes not cause disturbance in the economic prosperity, but history has always proved otherwise.

Most scientific studies have painted a grim picture of the impact of the global warming. According to Environment America, since 2000, there has been about 14 to 15 warmest years on record, (“global warming solutions”, ‘n.d’). This fact requires us to take the strongest possible actions in order to reduce the adverse effects of the global warming since it has had a significant impact on the economy and the social upbringing of people. If proper policies are, the risk of a greater damage can be reduced. Shifting the current trend of very high temperatures requires the whole world to adopt and implement one economic policy that discourages and reduce the amount of carbon emission in the world. Any possible delay will make it even harder to deal with the problem or even make it costly. Taking steps to tackle this challenge may seem very hard, but it is very beneficial. If economic policies are devised to deal with the problem, the world can have the possibility of experiencing a green economy. The policies will drive and make the realization of an ever growing economy a possibility in the future.
Global warming is a global issue that urgently needs a comprehensive answer. The economic impact is that it can ruin the economies of the world. The world needs an approach to great leadership to tackle the problem.
