Ethical Case

Situation: Two of my friend that does not know that I know the other met the same man on a dating internet site. One friend introduces me to this man and they seem like a good couple. Three days later I was introduce to the same man by my other friend. The man recognizes me and neither of us seem to know what to do about this situation that I found myself in. Dealing with the heart of two friends is stressful. What to do, first I took the day to ponder on this situation, and the consequences of it. The Normative Ethics approach is what end up starting off for it deals with how to figure out the correct moral action to take. Both friends was told at the same time as they met each other for the first time. My action turns out to be the right thing for do unto others as you would want done unto yourself.
Morality is subjective and based on different social views and values. Ethics is usually based on morality; however, ethics are seemingly black and white. Ethics refers to questions dealing with morality, such as whether something is good or bad, good or evil, just or unjust, etc. When addressing ethics, ultimate question is whether you action to be taken, or already taken, served the greater good. While ethics are subject to a moral code, ethics are not a set of morals but a value attached to behavior based on moral standards. For example, morals define who we are as individuals more specifically our characters and ethics express the social system as it relates to work environment.
Least Harm: When you must choose between evils, choose the least evil.
Beneficence: the duty to do good both individually and for all.
Justice: the duty to treat all fairly, distributing the risks and benefits equally.
Autonomy: the duty to maximize the individual's right to make his or her own decisions.
