SCIENTIFIC REASONS WHY GLOBAL WARMING IS UNFOUNDED

Global warming phenomenon has been in discussion for a long time the past, the effects on the temperature have been attributed majorly to have been caused by Carbon dioxide emissions into the atmosphere hence resulting in a greenhouse effect.  However there has been opposing criticism that global warming isn’t taking place and even if it happening, humans have no direct role it its occurrence. Recent scientific evidence has termed global warming facts as groundless and even come up with evidence to ascertain that it’s not true.

Global warming is the apparent continuous rise in the earth’s temparatures.1 it’s said that the temperatures have risen by about a degree since 1900. However controversies have arisen as to the cause and whether it will escalate even further. The fact that the earth has warmed by about one degree Celsius does not look very ominous. Carbon dioxide gas has been said to be the chief cause of global warming, this has been due to the coincidence of rising of the levels of CO2 with global warming since 1978. However the scientists disagree with the figures on how much effect carbon dioxide has on the heat levels arguing that there is no scientific basis to justify this claim. They also argue that just because two things occur simultaneously doesn’t prove that one causes the other.2

Another scientific fact that renders global warming as groundless is the fact that since 1997, global warming has not taken place. For over 20 years now the earth’s systems temperatures have been on a flat trend.  In agreement with this was former Climate Research Unit (CRU) director, Phil Jones from University of East Anglia.

 He admitted that from 1940-1975 cooling took place and when the temperatures rose it only lasted for only 22 years. With this kind of pause we cannot say global warming is taking place.3

Previous scientific theories that said global warming was taking place and was caused by man have been made irrelevant by new scientific evidence. Initially they believed that global cooling was taking place but later changed when it started to warm up. A large number of established scientists have come out stating that humans are not causing global warming. Another group of around 1000 scientists signed a report saying that global warming is not taking place at all.4 More and more highly educated and respected scientists have come out over the years and have disagreed that global warming is taking place.5
