For the most part, people live and learn as they grow in their individual lives. When a person finds companionship with another than that complacent learning style is jeopardized. Their language changes, their wants, needs and desires may begin to drift from singular thought to now thoughts of togetherness. The I’s become we and us & also the selfish needs become selfless acts. When speaking to other married couples; I hear spouses say that even though people get married, they can still remain the same person they were when the first united. Finding out who you are often times comes from the changes you have made to yourself along the path that your individual life has taken you, so how is it possible to remain the same person you were when you initially tied the knot if you cannot even stay the same alone in your journey? There are many ways to make changes in your married life and still remain able to hold on to the things that allow you to be an individual within the union you chose to be connected to.
