Project Context

I. Introduction

1.1 Background of the study

There are several current trends in our society that affect alarm system issues. Alarm system is defined as the process where the responsible authority is alerted in some way. It cannot only use to alarm or to make some warning but also can use in many ways. Alarm System is totally designed for security purpose but as technology continues in upgrading its uses also improving.  One of the very important factor of almost alarm system is the time because it tells when the system alarms.

There’re some incident like losing of some items inside the classroom, charging with their gadgets, using of electric pan without permission to the teacher or College Dean and  the proper management of each classroom will not be maintain especially the cleanliness, if this exercises will continue we can’t have a peace of mind.

Therefore, it is the intention of this project to create a simple alarm system for opening and closing of classroom in a scheduled time. It can be done by the use of microcontroller that serves as main component of this system. This system does not only make an alarm but also it has an auto lock that serves as the main purpose of the system with the use of the time scheduling.  Our proposed system is combination of alarm system, locking system and time scheduling system.

1.  Statement of the Problem

        1.2.1 General Problem

               The general problem in a class is that they don’t follow the right schedule of their subject sometimes they end their class earlier and sometimes the Instructor extends the time of their class.

      1.2.2 Specific Problem

                1. Tardiness is the main problem in the school or even in the office. There are  some students who are not afraid to enter their class late because their teachers are also late in attending their class.

2. There are students and teachers who don’t value the time so it’s okay for them to go to school late.
