Cybercrime is constantly evolving with technology. Criminals are utilizing the speed,
convenience, and invisibility in modern technologies. The worldwide use of the Internet has
permitted criminals to commit cybercrime all over the world. Cybercrime is considered any
illegal activity performed using computers or the Internet. The activity of downloading illegal
music files to the embezzlement of money from bank accounts. The developing list of
cybercrimes includes offenses such as, generating and administering viruses on other computers,
or any computer-based variations of existing crimes, such as stalking, bullying, identity theft and
terrorism. Computer crime is on the rise and shows no sign of decreasing. Cybercrime is now
deviating in a different direction as it once was. New financial malware programs become
available and the criminals find new ways to construct non-financial information, and the rise of
hacking related attacks breathes fresh life. Identity theft is one of the most common forms of
cybercrime, in which the Internet is used to defraud personal data from other users. Terrorist
utilize the Internet to recruit and incitement of radicalization, which poses a serious threat to
national and international security. In the past, cybercrime has been done by small groups or
individual persons. We are now seeing a visible progression with organized crime and
criminally minded technology experts working together and merging their resources.
