The current site is efficient but a little plain. Through discussion with team members, the goal is to incorporate things like metadata to increase traffic to the site; add a better color scheme to make the site more attractive; and use of multimedia and images will put a finishing touch to this project.
Adding metadata is very important to increasing the traffic to the site. I have a small business that thrives and depend on being able to rank on the first five spots of a listing report. When a customer uses a web search on their mobile device or computer, the metadata placed in your web site help web crawlers find your site and bring your web site to the potential customer.
The color scheme of any web site is very important in setting the mood for the potential customer to spend time looking a your site for reference to make a decision or to continue their search by moving on to a new web site that’s your competition. The current color scheme is very drab looking and needs to be brightening to share a happier image.
Lastly, the use of multimedia and images will dramatically improve the interaction between potential customer and the web site. The current site has very images and no multimedia to promote interaction with the potential customer.
