Riordan Manufacturing Current HRIS System
Riordan installed their present HRIS and financial service package system in 1992 and is responsible for personnel data.

∙ Organization Information such as; department for budget purposes, and manager’s name
∙ Vacation hours for nonexempt employees
The payroll assistant is responsible for inputting hand written employee information into the employee database. Some of this data consists of changes to personnel files, wages, tax material, hire date, and security or company data. Currently an excel file is used for keeping files and status of applications. Employment recruiters commonly keep data connected to employee applications and job vacancies (Riordan Manufacturing, 2015). The central storage room also keeps data associated to resumes. Although resumes may be kept here, employee records are not kept in the central storage room. Supervisors have the duty of keeping employee records, and keeping up with FMLA time off. A third party; who also handles the maintenance of these records handles workers Compensation. Harassments, complaints and employee grievances are recorded and stored: in the Employee Relations Specialist’s Office (Riordan Manufacturing, 2015).
Riordan Manufacturing Request
Riordan Manufacturing will focus on making full use of latest multifaceted technology that is appropriate for the Human Resource Department. Riordan will incorporate existing Human Resources functions into a single integrated application. Riordan will create a detailed system design and the projected implementation plan will be within six months. This implantation plan will allow Riordan Manufacturing to start utilization of the new system for the second quarter of the physical year (Smith Services Consulting Incorporated, 2011).
