For most of our life we need to be able to fit in various organizations, some with a high degree of complexity in structure and other fairly simple and functional organizational systems. However, all the organizations, whether formal or informal are made up of people seeking the benefits of working together as a team, in order to achieve a common goal. As we can see a basic element of any organization is its goal or purpose, since without it, no organization would be meaningless. Good organization, ability to do things correctly, is a concept that refers to "input-output". An efficient manager is the one who gets products or results. Managers who can minimize the costs of the resources needed to achieve goals, are acting efficiently and a manager who chooses the wrong goal is an ineffective manager, even if carries on business with great efficiency. Having a good and supportive chain on command can make it easy for you to be able to perform very successful.
With Atha Corporation as a department manager, it is imperative to plan and set short term goals for each department in order to accomplish what Mary Atha wishes. Doubling the company sales in just one year. It is also necessary that employees have all the resources available to them to help reach this goal. A good leader and a good Manager is also needed to help employees understand the importance of achieving the goals. We will have a lot of support from other team member and also VP of the company to set the new plan. First and most important is the retraining of the employees in charge of this project, they need to know that there job descriptions are changing and they might be doubling their job duties for a period of time in order to complete the goal in one year. I will be hiring more staff to help out in the hiring process and training of 30 more employees for all the different departments. After their jobs will transition as a HR compensation Analysis and HR Risk management. I think this two roles are very important because they will focus on job evaluations, merit admin, salary research, safety programs, emergency procedures, general liability, etc., which are essential in every company in other to protect and also keep out employees to be able to complete the companies goals.
