Emotional Information is all around us- Emotional Intelligence can reveal to us that only a selective few can truly comprehend and value the more restrained versions of particular messages. It goes to show that only individuals that possess high emotional intelligence will truly comprehend the affluence and difficulty of these types of communications.
Emotional information has been recognized as one of the key forms of information that human beings process. - However it doesn’t necessarily mean that the information is processed adequately among these individuals. The true meaning is that it is flowing around us and the ones who are able to retrieve it will perform well in their respective duties in which the ones who didn’t pick it up cannot.
Self Awareness-know ur mood… how u feel about it… know your emotional strengths and weaknesses.
Handling emotions- Managers have tried and cant control their emotions… what do u think will happen of everyone in an organization didn’t handle their emotions. Stay positive under pressure.
Motivation- Workers like to feel driven to do their best… ave to be able to delegate tasks in accordance with the goals of the organization and achieve those goals. Employees are motivated when they know exactly what is to be done and what is expected of them.
Empathy- read and understand body language. Sense of belonging to the company which can result in increased productivity on their part.
Social skills- have to be able to effectively interact with employees… the manager that possess good social skills will receive a positive feedback from their subordinates..easier for managers to delegate tasks without any animosity from employees.
