Binh Le, managing director of the institutes for Studies of Society, Economic and Environment said, “Legalize prostitution can bring safety to prostitutes and their clients. It will also bring economic benefit to the government in the form of taxes imposed on prostitutes.” (Van, 2012). Vietnam today is a beautiful country that people around the global loves to visit for vacation. Many beautiful scenes from the north of Vietnam there are Ha Long Bay and Sapa, in the central of Vietnam there are Hue and Da Nang, and in the south of Vietnam are Nha Trang, Da Lat. Vietnam also well recognized of the women are well-behaved, gentle and righteous, and beautiful. In term of beauty, the country has what is take to be the top, why should they legalize prostitution? That can really change the view of other people around the world and look at them differently in term moral.
Vietnam had change dramatically in past 20 years, from a very poor country to a mid-level of living. Due to the fact the foreigner had built their companies in Vietnam, and helped the Vietnamese to have jobs where they can have a better living. After 20 years of hard working and gain the better living, now people asking to legalize prostitution in Vietnam from the government. I believe this is outrageous to even think about legalized prostitution. Yes, the government will get the taxes money from the prostitutes; it is a win-win situation. But at the same you are looking at a wide open job for every woman in the country. For example, when prostitute was not legal price will be higher, and when it’s become legal more lady will open themselves up to enter the job field. The biggest concern is the competition between prostitutes, could lead hurting other in term of winning the customers. As for customers, they aren’t afraid to get caught and they will look for cheaper prostitutes.
