Being Against Legalizing Prostitution
The legalization of prostitution is a very debatable topic. A lot of people feel it would be a wise decision to legalize prostitution for the fact that they think it will make things easier to handle and it would be a lot safer. This is something I absolutely do not agree with. There are countries however that do legalize prostitution and is actually a great business. Two of the countries that legalize prostitution are France and Germany. Because something is legal does not mean or make it morally right and or safe.
Prostitution is legal in France and at the moment the country's estimated 18,000 prostitutes can only be fined if their activities disturb the peace. But under the proposed law, prostitutes could face six months in prison or a fine of up to $7,500 if convicted under the law." An estimated 400,000 prostitutes work in Germany, and 1.2 million customers are said to use their services daily. Revenues are estimated at 6 billion Euros every year.
In the authors article he talks about prostituting can possibly fix a rocky marriage. A marriage is between ONE man and ONE woman not men and women. When you take the vow of being married there is no one that should be added. If there are sexual problems going on in the marriage by letting a man and/or woman stray away for that “FEEL” will not help anything. It could possibly make the situation worse. It is as if he is saying give your spouse the okay or the free card to go out and sleep with a random person to make your marriage last. If you are not fulfilling whatever need that needs to be met by your spouse, pray about it, go to cancelling, or just flat out get a divorce and that way you are free to do whatever it is that you want.
