Pearly Tunes would be entering the high-end toothbrush market segment, with competitors such as SoniCare and Oral-B. There are two distinctive advantages that set Pearly Tunes apart from other electric toothbrushes on the market, its Bluetooth sync-ing technology for music and the specially designed attachment heads for cleaning dental appliances such as braces.

According the United States Census, there are approximately 319,292,904 individuals living in the United States (U.S. Census). Of the approximately 319 million individuals “over four million people wear braces” and of the four million people approxi-mately 25% are adults (Humana, 2014).
