Have you ever laid in bed asking yourself why I am so dumb when you fail to reach your destination or achieve your study goals? Unsurprisingly, it is so obvious that everyone at least once in their lifetime has asked themselves this and fought to deal sufficiently for this seemingly unsolvable task. To succeed in this task, the most effective tips are: goal setting, scheduling and consistent actions.
Goal setting is a powerful process to motivate yourself to turn your dream into reality. (Mindtools, n.d.). So far so good, goal setting is a really effective preparation. For example, the majority of pupils somehow feel lousy and adrift in their process of studying. It seems like their efforts do not pay off. A key reason of feeling this way is that they do not actually know who they are, what they really want and how they achieve it. Moreover, goal setting also means that you are not reckless within it and you are willing to pursue after it. For instance, the time when failures push you to give up, goal setting is a perfect savior applying to this task. As the fact that, goal setting is an alarm clock to wake you up when you fall asleep and dream of giving up. With my own experience, during the national exam, I set a clear goal for my grade, back then, I learnt many things and knew a lot of staffs. I can say that goal was a part of my achievement, it was always there telling me why I should do this, why I shouldn't do that and what I am going to do. This was the purpose of goal setting to me. Plus, goal setting is a source of questions to examine who you are, what your ambition is and how to deal with the circumstances in your learning. This also can build up your confidence and bring back your priceless effort to make a comeback. Basically, goal setting is a vision to the future which can be lasted for so long in their mind and also created from their interest, and their talent. Once goal has been set, it will be well-maintained and developed by the creativity. All the thoughts and efforts will come as one to fulfil the ambition. Thus, goal setting is summed up as the very first essential step to successful learning like the proverb said "the beginning is the hardest point of everything". (Searchquotes, n.d.). Goal setting alone cannot lead you to the accomplishment.
Scheduling is a fundamental procedure to get on consistent actions. Learning to manage one's time is a must. Due to the fact that, learning is a difficult endeavor in life. Improvement will be in progress in your studying, if pupils make a great timetable. (I am Gifted So Are You). Learning is all affected terribly by procrastination and laziness. For example, when students do not have a proper schedule, we can also expect a false commitment from students as well. The learners will not use their time sufficiently and wisely on their job. They will delay their work and keep leaving the work aside until the due date comes. This is not a good attitude toward learning. Once the work is delayed and done a night before the deadline, it will not be representative of their thoughts and the real ability. The thing is that they just want to finish the job or submit their work like other students do. This will provide u the burden and pain within the outcome. Moreover, schedule is like a theory. We make one, we follow its path, we commit one's time, and we try to balance our consistency. If we take it seriously, the outcome will not be a regret. As a student, life is linked a lot with studying. Sometimes, studying gives you a hard time and studying somehow tackles your happiness and joy. As a result, studying can also gain your stress and boredom. Making a schedule can also be an answer to this particular problem, too. Scheduling is not fully based on studying, it must be made for some time off to play hard and relieve all the hardship for a moment. In my own taste of life, as a 12th grader, pressure and stress were the biggest opponents, it's a must to deal with them. So arranging my schedule could give me a range of space for relieves and relaxation. I played hard and I also studied hard, that was my point to counter those situations. Furthermore, scheduling is a magnificent way to control both the commitment and joy at the same time without the affection of the devilish procrastination. Scheduling will be unproductive, if the action is not processing.
