        Critical success factors: are the things that must function properly if it is to achieve the objectives.  Implications for information systems, which is established FCE, have undertaken initiatives to address SI and establish who is responsible for such actions can be of two types:

  • All FCE need better information, in the form of key indicators to verify their realization.
  • Many FCE may also require the improvement of existing systems, or suggest the need for totally new systems.

Once defined, the FCE can be projected on the activities of the company and with the other techniques, FCE can help focus attention on the contribution that the SI.
