1.0 Nestlé’s Description
1.1 Nestle Background
Nestle is the leading company which focused on serving their customers with Nutrition, Health and Wellness products. Nestle is a Swiss Company that founded in year 1866 by Henri Nestle (Nestle, 2011). The headquarters are located at Vevey, Switzerland (Nestle, 2011). Besides that, Nestle Company is introducing their products to the global market. There are around 280,000 employees being hired to ensure the operation of their business (Nestle, 2011). The Nestle factories are located all around the world. “Good Food, Good Life” is the slogan of Nestle Company as to provide their customers with all the best tasting and healthy consumer products.
1.2 Objective
The objective of Nestle is to gain more market share and become the global market leader in the Food and Nutrition industry. The company has to experience a hardship in order to sustain that position especially to stay ahead of Cadbury. It is because that Cadbury is being acquired by Kraft food which is the world leader in the chocolate business.
1.3 Vision and Mission
The vision of Nestle Company is to fulfill the customer needs by producing and selling food that is associated with high quality, health and wellness. As to achieve the vision, Nestle has invested huge amount of money in developing of e-business and do promotion through the Internet as to capture more potential customers. Besides that, the mission of the company is to provide quality foods to everyone and reflects long-term objective in conducting their business. Nestle promise that they will try their best to enhance the quality of their current and new launch products.
