The four major functions of management in heath care is Planning, Organizing, Leading and Controlling. These functions of management as far as my current job allows the corporation to have daily activities to provide the consumers, the organizations allows staff and consumers to have a daily schedule to maintain the where abouts of the staff and consumer productivity, the leading allows the staff to encourage the consumers to do better with their learning skills and daily living duties and the control allows staff to make sure daily procedures are being done correctly and in a timely matter.
First major function of management within my job as a “Human Service Assistant” (HSA) is the planning. Planning managers to look ahead at overall company goals and make decisions based on what will achieve those goals. For instance, as an HAS I am to assure the appropriate activities to pacific consumers so that they can learn how to use their learning skills better to master the activity given at hand. Planning also involves the details of certain tasks, such as who will do something, how they will do it and how long it is expected to take. A good plan is vital to efficiency and success when managing mental consumers in accompanying them to do better individual independency.
Next, the organizational functions of management within my healthcare employment consist of synchronizing all resources which are: people, equipment and money. These resources benefit my title because it requires completing a task which is consist time spent with the consumers and documents being done appropriately and correctly. The equipment such as the pc and nurse monitors benefits my position because of documentation on the consumers’ background and how to assist in case of a medical emergency. Also, the money benefits my position because of the state benefits that is provided with my employment. For instance, as long as I am employed throughout the state I receive great benefits for any and all types of healthcare issues I may acquire in the future. In additions, all three resources should be ensured of use being effective as possible.
