“Be curious. Read widely. Try new things. What people call intelligence just boils down to curiosity?” By Aaron Swartz. He was a computer programmer who died at the age of twenty-six, born a leader, according to the list of accomplishments that were achieved during his life. Firstly, he started at the age of thirteen where he was awarded ArsDigita Prize for “The Info Network” which was an online user-generated encyclopedia that invited people to contribute their knowledge and later on it was linked to the earlier version of Wikipedia. It secured to Swartz a place in the finals where was invited to join the RDF Core Working Group of W3C, an assembled group that help the evolution of the web. He also volunteered as an editor at Wikipedia. Also in 2006 he was a candidate for the Wikimedia it was during that time where he wrote a couple of writings about Wikipedia. Secondly, he co-authored RSS1.0 (Rich Site Summary) an important web standard which used a family of web feed formats to publish regularly updated information which also became the industry standard. Furthermore, he moved to San Francisco to write code for Creative Commons a public domain watchdog group. During this span of time, he was working on a project called “Infogami” which can be merged with Reddit.com, which is entertainment, social networking, and news website that resulted that Swartz being the co-founder of the company.
