1. Introduction.

Company Background

Top Glove is established in the year of 1991, during that time it only own a factory and three production lines. As time passed, Top Glove has grown by leaps and bounds to be the World’s largest rubber glove manufacturer.

Top Glove has put in a huge amount of great deal to emphasis on research and development to ensure there are improvement continuously in their product’s quality and the efficiency of its product.

Top Glove collaborates closely with the government agencies and ministries to keep itself abreast of the latest development of the rubber research technology and also in order to stay ahead of the curve in product development. By now, Top Glove has already earned itself a reputation of being a one-stop glove sourcing centre which offers an extensive and also a complete range of high quality, high value-added and also cost-effective rubber gloves.

On 27th of March 2001, Top Glove was listed on the Malaysian bourse, Bursa Saham Kuala Lumpur. Slightly more than a year later which was on 16th of May 2002, Top Glove Corporation Berhad’s listing was successfully promoted from the Second Board to the Main Market of the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange. Top Glove own a shareholder of RM1.15 billion with an annual turnover of about RM2.05 billion as at financial year ended on 31st of August 2011. Top Glove is also plays a role of being one of the component stocks of the FTSE Bursa Malaysia ("FBM") Mid 70 Index, FBM Top 100 Index and FBM Emas Index with a market capitalization of RM3.26 billion at 19 September 2012.

The company has undertaken a rapid expansion of its capacity in line with its objective of capturing a larger share in the world market.
