Stress seminar :
Every single one of use has felt stressed, it is simply a life phase that we go through. As we feel the pressure placed upon us, where we are required to cope with it, in order to accomplish task/s. It is quite difficult to avoid, but it is possible to learn to deal with it, become more resistant to it. By challenging yourself, learning to push through the pressure (difficult time to perform well) and grow from it. Stress in this case is self-developmental factor that helps us improve as individuals.
The "junk dna" may be considered selfish, but it does not signify that we as humans will be selfish as well. I believe that it can impact us inherently, yet it is important to understand and take other factors into consideration, such as personality . As it shapes us, our daily regimes and habits, as a result it is difficult to make assumptions that we, as humans, are inherently selfish due to our genetic makeup, we must take in other environmental and personal factors in order to come to accurate conclusions.
ISU #2 Proposal
I have chosen to make a workbook of pen/paper exercises + recordings (with completed answers on the back) for this portion of the ISU, as it is will be an effective study tool for the future kinesiology students. It will consist of a number of questions, crosswords and puzzles, in order to help them learn the body's parts and its functions. I believe this will be the most long-lasting way to study this unit as it requires pure memorization and hard core understanding of the material. The anatomy unit includes various systems that work together in order for the body to perform daily tasks. As result, it is important to learn material gradually as it builds up over the year. Likewise, the pen/paper exercises will be made for each chapter, so the students will be able to use them for reviewing, which will assist them in memorizing bones or muscles, which can take some time to learn and requires constant practice. For the body's systems, such as the respiratory or cardiovascular systems it is a matter of fact of understanding its role and over all purpose in the body, in order to be able to make connections and see the bigger picture.
